Please arrive at the venue 15 minutes early.
Gymnasts should be changed and ready to go no later than 15 minutes prior to the listed warm up times.
Please note that parents are not permitted on the competition floor.
We ask that in the event of an unforeseen circumstance that prevents your gymnast from otherwise attending, please call the office or your coach as soon as you know. We appreciate getting as much notice as possible. Email info@trailgymnastics.ca OR text Katy 250-512-1008
No Show Policy
A great deal of time, effort and expense are invested in attending the various meets & competitions throughout the season. Accurate participant lists are essential to providing our gymnasts the best experience possible. Parents are expected to notify the Club if they will not be attending an event. No Show Gymnasts (those who are on our list, but fail to attend), create a significant amount of unnecessary work and are subject to an administration fee.
Withdrawals
Medical withdrawals will be accepted up to and including February 22, 2024. All requests must be accompanied by a doctor's note stating the athlete's name, the nature of his/her injury and confirmation that the injury sustained has made it impossible for him/her to compete at the 2024 Key City Classic. Notes from Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Naturopaths etc. will not be accepted. An administrative fee of $20.00 per medical withdrawal request will apply.
Athletes, Parents and Coaches
In lieu of individual consent/waiver forms it is inferred that by registering and paying for your athlete the parent(s) of the registered athlete are consenting to have their child participate in the 2024 Key City Classic and that in the event of an emergency they authorize medical treatment as required.
It is understood that whenever possible the parent will be contacted and informed of the problem/treatment and diagnosis. The parent(s) understand that certified first aid attendants will be present and available during all competition times and that all possible safety precautions will be taken by Key City Gymnastics Club and our volunteers to keep competitors safe.
However, in consideration of the registration and payment for registration for the 2024 Key City Classic the parent(s) waive and release all rights and claims for damages which they may have or which may hereafter accrue to them against Key City Gymnastics Club, the owners and/or operators of the facility in which the said invitational is being held, and any of their employees, agents, or assigns in respect to injuries which the athlete sustains in the course of participation in the said invitational including activities not directly related to competing therein, and travel to or from the said facility.
In addition, in lieu of individual Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act forms this year it is also inferred that by registering and paying for your athletes that the parent(s) of the athlete are consenting to allow sounds and images (video and still) pictures to be published or aired in a variety of locations, including audio tapings on television, radio and newspaper, as well as Key City Gymnastics Club website and publications.
