Trail Gymnastic Club started out as a High School Club in 1962 and over the years has become BC’s oldest continuous operating club.

Chris Buccini took over as Head Coach and Owner in 1982 and was able to expand the training facility in 1986 with a move to the Tadanac Hall. Gymnasts attending gymnastics classes grew to 200 at this time.

In December of 1989, a fire burned the gymnastic facility and we were without a facility until 1990 when a new home was found at our current location of the gym at Selkirk College.

With new equipment and gymnast numbers growing, the club thrived even through the ups and downs of the local economy. Through the hard work and dedication of Chris Buccini and the parents, fees were kept low and new equipment was bought.

The Trail Gymnastics Society took over operations of the Trail Gymnastic Club in 2005 and has been working hard to keep our club a thriving one for the gymnasts.
